North Queensland Camera Group; Meets in Townsville to share and enjoy all aspects of photography.

Visitors are most welcome to attend our meeting nights. If you have queries please contact our club secretary nqcg.secretary@gmail.com.

Please bring a cup, as tea and coffee will be available on our meeting nights.

Interested in CompetitionsWe run several monthly competitions, for digital photographers.

And we use the Photographic Society of Queensland-accredited judges to review our competitions. Their feedback is invaluable, as it gives our photographers technical and creative insights into their images.

The North Queensland Camera Group’s members welcome all photographers regardless of their level of expertise, be they advanced photographers or just starting out.

We offer our Members

Learning & Development Programs: these sessions/workshops are held monthly.

Photographic Excursions: allowing you to build upon your portfolios and your knowledge. While sharing the fellowship of like-minded photographers in an all-inclusive atmosphere.

Focus Groups; Members who wish to grow their expertise, may elect to lead specialist focus groups.

Becoming a member of our photographic family is a rewarding experience.

Monthly get together is at the Aitkenvale Library Meeting Room

Please come along, you are all welcome.

There is plenty of free parking behind the library building and the entry to the meeting room is now via the library, just ask the library staff if you are unsure and we look forward to seeing you there.

You will find that we are a friendly lot at the North Queensland Camera Group. And if you’re interested in photography and would like to know more, don’t hesitate to come along. The event starts at 7 pm so arrive earlier to meet the gang and please bring along a cup as we will break for supper.

We also run monthly Learning and Development evenings for members, where you can learn more about the art of photography. Our popular social outings allow members to master their craft and build upon their portfolios at their own pace. Please come along and learn more about our amazing group.
